Here is what I would like to do.

I want to have a Commandos Real Steel shooting day. All Commandos are welcome. Anyone under age needs consent from parent or guardian.

Within the Commandos we have firearms instructors, military personnel, and armorers, so we can assure a safe and fun day. Eye protection can be provided for some, but would like you to bring your own eye pro if you can. Hearing protection will be provided for everybody.

Parents or guardians are more than welcome. I will provide more than enough ammo for any weapon that I bring, but would ask that you bring ammo for your own firearms, if you're bringing any. Everybody will get to shoot, practice and have fun!

If we could arrange it, I would like to have a bbq event or lunch afterwards for all participants. SASCO would also be the preferred venue.

I'm planning on this happening in August, so we have plenty of time to prepare. Respond if you're interested, and we'll hash out the details.

REMEMBER! Under 18 must have permission from a parent or guardian!

I'd freakin love to. I'd prefer it on a sunday morning, for class reasons. I'll gladly bring my rifles, and some scrap metal for longer-distance shooting, and contribute to the bbq effort.

This would be great! Id be willing to contribute to the BBQ, and Ill even try to bring a few of my fathers firearms.
I would prefer avoiding Sunday as much as possible, due to religious and work reasons, but If it cant be helped, it cant be helped.

That sounds like a great idea for a larger scale real steel day! This past Sasco game I brought my AR-15, WASR-10, and Savage Model 111 rifles. A few of the commandos got to shoot them; but since this one will be alot bigger, I'll bring ALL my guns and save up for plenty of ammunition. Behind Sasco there is a great range area and a great back-stop to catch the led. Either way, I'll bring the water and some shade for the event.

I will be 18 by then so I will go. Also, I more than likely will not a weapon to bring, but I can buy some ammo off whoever has their guns there so I can shoot theirs.

you'll be 18, you can buy ammo to bring with you Surprised
.223 remington would be a good choice, as I'll be trying to get my dad to loan me the Mini 14 Target rifle for the day, and G-man will be bringing his AR-15, so thats atleast 2 guns that use .223 right there.

I've got about 12lbs of tannerite myself. Looking for some ball .50AE as well, if anybody knows where I can get some.

Oh, don't make commitments on weapons that aren't yours until you speak with the owners first! I'll be bringing about 5 pistols myself, maybe a couple smoke grenades for fun, a Stoeger Coach gun, and maybe some other toys.

You guys can shoot any of my guns. Just don't buy wolf in .223 for the AR-15(I'd feel better with PMC); but i'm fine with wolf for the AK in 7.62x39.

I'll also bring the 30-06, M44 Mosin Nagant (7.62x54R), .22 Marlin rifle, .22 Walther P22, 12 Gauge shotgun, .45 ACP handgun, and I'll see about bringing the 8mm Mauser and 30-30 Lever Action rifle.

Regardless of if I can bring the Mini 14, I'll be bringing my own box of Federal 55 grain FMJ .223 and my .22 Remington Fieldmaster 572 pump action and ammo for it. I prefer FMJ in my firearms(just personal preferance) so if you want to shoot anything I bring, and are bringing your own ammo, please bring FMJ ammo. I will update on the exact list of firearms I will be bringing once we have the date set.
