Joining your airsoft team

HI

I just moved here to tucson from Texas and i started playing airsoft about a 4 years ago and I found your site on the internet. I also found a couple of other airsoft teams on in tucson and was wondering if you knew anything about them.

First i want to know what and how to join your team.
Second who is the Desert Hawks I heard from my new neighbor that they are the TEAM TO BEAT or the one that I should try to get on. Are they that good?
third were does airsoft get played in tucson and how do i get to play on a team
Forth what kind of airsoft do you play (mil-sim, CQC, Or spray and run)
Here is what i have for gear
Guns
Completely custom TM M14 and Escort M60 Escort also costume made and maxed out
CA M14 MagPul edition(custom internals) with a Acog scope (Used for CQC)
Systema M14 PTW
12 Mid Cap mags
TM Hicapa 1911 with precision barrel and extended mags
2 Reg mags and 2 extended mags
Uniformsboots(black and tan and green)
For camo i have the following
Digital Marpat desert, woodland
BDU, Flectar, British DPM
Vest
Plate Carier(Tan)
Milspec Assault Vest
Mich and spec op helmet with Icom radio and headset

I also have some more gear but to much to list.

If you can tell me about other teams here in tucson that are good please let me know i really really want to get back into airsoft and not have to sell my stuff.

Welcome. You'll have to talk to the boss about joining the team, but glad you came to the forums. WHere in Texas did you live and what brought you to Tucson?

Welcome to Tucson! I will try and respond to each topic.
The Desert Hawks, are one of several active ,and Dynamic teams here in Tucson.They are very well organized. They are always a welcome challenge to play with.Point of contact would be "Kiley"
There are several other Teams, but I really cant comment on them as I know little about them.I would point you towards www.tucsonairsoftcoalition.com this is the sanctioning organiation that all active teams are registered with.This refered to asTAC
Organized events, pick up games ands Military Simulation scenario events are played in one of several AOs.I hesitate to divulge exact details and location on an open forum, but will say that each Ao has its own challenges that keep our events exciting. Private Team on Team games are held at privates AOs by invitation in some cases.
Becoming a Commando; The 49Th Commando Grenadiers are a Civilian Military Simulation Team. Our load out is Multi-cam cambat uniform, Tan or OD green plate carrier, or LBE. We have a Team hat that is custom made for Us, and is only available to Commandos. Weapons are of personal choice. We have just about every weapons system represented . Icoms or Motorolas with 22 Channels is a great idea.
We Do not play Speedsoft or Run and Gun. ..
Min age 16 No military exsp. needed ( several of us are exArmy, Current Army and USMC)
prospective players: Must attend 3 games with the Commandos. After three events the current Members will vote you are in.
By the players 3rd event he/she is expected to have the multi-cam uniform, By 6th event prospective player should have aquired the Members package
Package: M40/9 patrol cap
two name tapes
1 team tape
and one rank.

Welcome to the forums man, each game will be posted up on TAC during the weekends, but the commandos only events are elsewhere. I hope to see you out there, if you want to come to NWop Site this saturday then come on out and look for myself, and MusicMan as well as any other commandos that make it out there. Well tell you more about the team and some of the shenanigans we do .
