Lets start talking about a Fire Team patch and who we are in reference to the commandos. Will we be the spearhead or the support team? Any other roles need to be filled?

Fire Team patch suggestions:
Spartan Helmet
Browncoats patch (MC loadout) 1 vote
Red Hammer (Russian loadout) 1 vote

I like the red hammer for the Russian loadout once we all get it, but for our MC gear, I think a Browncoats patch would be cool.

I don't know if musicman will want to use that for his teams MC loadout or not. If so I would let him have it, does anyone have any other suggestions for patches for the MC loadout? If Music does not want the browncoats patch for charlie team then we have one vote for that.

I have a similar(bluesun corp) idea so your free to do browncoats.

I think we are collectively starting to work towards an eagle themed patch (common symbols being thrown around in this thread). Lemme know what you guys think of these ones. I also am liking screaming eagle and UNSCOF.

if those are our choices, I like UNSCOF

Screaming Eagle is pretty nice, it's a very high quality patch (I've got one sitting next to me), it'll fit great on any TRU style shirt, and can be ironed/sewn on if you don't have the velcro on your sleeves.

Secondary vote goes towards the Foxhound patch (also a cool one), and another thing I can have done is get the Raven Sword patch made by the same guys who did my Praying Mantis patch pictured below.

I had the Praying Mantis patch custom made, and it came to $10 for just one, which really isn't bad at all, and I believe there may be group discounts.

VS ask your patch guy how much it would cost if our team bought 5 of these, I personally like the other style where the raven is black.

Ravensword as I understand is from Metal Gear Solid, I read on a wiki that they are a PMC that was used for security in eastern europe. It also reminds me of Raven Corp. from the new video game MAG who is also a european based PMC that uses high technology, organization, and tactics to defeat their foes. If you don't like it then we wont use it, because I would like to attempt to satisfy all squad members. The choices are this:

If you guys want to go the other direction we could also do the foxhound patch or otherwise. As I understand that our squad symbol being based around a large bird may cut too close to resembling the Desert Hawks.

My opinion may not count here, but I always felt that a simple tribal-style patch is better than a big, complex patch. I know it's always fun to emulate videogame factions, but I think it would be cooler to eventually have a videogame copy you.

As much as I like Aleins,Star Wars and what not i wouldnt use a patch that links to a Movie.
