Training day discussion

If we are to do a training day we need 100% team participation. We need to a mock training session at the park with radios and rifle substitutes, and then a live fire training session with full gear and airsoft weapons at an OPsite. Lets start deciding on dates/times in advance.

Mock Training at the CDO wash:

Saturday March 6th 11am at CDO Wash. Bring radio coms, and an UNLOADED AEG.

Hot Training at NWop or SASCO:

Saturday March 20th 7:30am. Bring full tactical gear, eye pro, weapon, etc. Scrimmage games, training, etc.

Our hot training will take place the OPsite where there is not a pickup game going on that saturday. For example if pickups are at NWop then hot training will be at SASCO.

I think that we should do it at a park thats closer to everybody...seeing that pretty much everybody lives on the Northwest side. Reid park is a LONG drive. There's plenty of room at Riverfront park, and we could even do it just in the CDO wash somewhere if need be.

Or were you meaning James Kreigh? That's where we did it last time. Reid Park is like...where the Zoo is

Yes..I agree with Viper.I guess I didnt see that. Reid Park is a ways off. CDO wash sounds pretty good. as we could even do a Hot training as well. If we go with CDO then bring your AEG in place of a stick

I think that maybe we should do a park training op first, then after that do a CDO wash training session.

EDIT: and as far as parks go, maybe we should think about Riverfront Park on Lambert, because there's a lot more room there.

Doing hot training at the CDO wash wouldn't be effective because we don't play there. Well, majority of us don't anyway. I figure if were training as a team we should go somewhere to train where it will actually apply to our future battles. Besides its just a better idea to use an OPsite as theres a certain degree of risk playing at the CDO wash that the other OPsites don't have. I am changing the mock training site to james kreigh park.

To Goldleader: If theres not enough room at James Kreigh park let me know and I will change it.

Yeah, but it's nice because it's close to everyone so it's convenient and not a big trek like going out to SASCO. Plus it gives some variety. If we get used to playing in a lot of different places then we'll be able to play anywhere with ease

we could go to NWOP, its not as risky to play there, and its an opsite with allot of variety, with hills, wash, tall grass, desert brush and even a river.

Sounds awesome I will be there and it's cool that its in March because I'll be 19 by then. And Spring break for the U of A is March 13-21. Cool l33t's birthday during Spring Break. Aside from that IMHO I would have the hot training at NWOP, but what ever floats your boat.

How about we do a compromise? Mock training at CDO wash, same time same date with AEGs no gear unloaded no battery. Hot training at SASCO.

Okay its decided then. Cold training at the CDO wash, and hot training at SASCO or NWop depending on the circumstances.
